Let visitors upload files on your Webflow site.
Add the Flowdrive upload widget to your Webflow forms from the Designer — no code, no backend. Briefs, applications, and assets land straight in your library.
The short answer
Updated October 2026
Webflow’s own File upload button only works on the Premium site plan (or legacy Business, Ecommerce Plus and Advanced), takes one file of up to 10 MB per button, and stops collecting submissions once form storage reaches 100 GB. To get past that, add an upload field from a file host. With Flowdrive’s Webflow app you add it from the Designer: it works on any paid Site plan, takes several files per field, accepts files up to 20 MB on the free plan and up to 5 GB on paid plans, and puts each file’s link into the form so it arrives with the submission. Formspree (which replaces Webflow’s form handling) and Uploadcare (a widget you add with custom code) are other options.
Add file uploads to a Webflow form in four steps.
- 001
Install the app
Install Flowdrive from the Webflow Marketplace and create a Flowdrive account. The free plan works.
- 002
Connect Webflow
Open the Flowdrive app in the Designer and click Connect Webflow.
- 003
Add the upload field
Turn on uploads for your site, add the upload field to your form, and set file size, file types and multiple files.
- 004
Publish
Visitors’ files upload to your Flowdrive library, and each file’s link is sent with the form submission.
Turn on uploads from the Webflow Designer.
Open the Flowdrive app, pick your form and add the upload field. Cap sizes, restrict file types, allow several files. All from the app, no code to paste.
Collect files from your visitors.
Briefs, applications, customer photos — visitors upload right inside your Webflow form, with progress bars and success states built in. No login, no separate dashboard.
Experience the Flowdrive widget yourself. Try it out.
Live widget, the same one the Flowdrive app adds to your Webflow form.
This is a much-needed solution. We have lots of short videos and didn't want to use Vimeo because we needed them to autoplay and loop. S3 and Firebase were too complicated for non-developers. Flowdrive solved exactly that.

Every upload lands in your library. Organized.
Uploads arrive in your Flowdrive workspace automatically. Organized, hosted, and ready to deliver from your domain.
Flowdrive vs Webflow’s file upload
for forms.
Webflow form uploads, answered.
Can you upload files through a Webflow form?
Yes, with Webflow’s File upload button, but only on the Premium site plan (or the legacy Business plan), Ecommerce Plus or Ecommerce Advanced. Each button takes one file of up to 10 MB. On other plans, you add an upload field from a file host such as Flowdrive instead.
What is the file size limit for Webflow form uploads?
Webflow’s File upload button accepts one file of up to 10 MB. Form file storage is free up to 10 GB, then $0.50 per GB a month, and at 100 GB Webflow stops collecting submissions. With Flowdrive, the largest file is 20 MB on the free plan and 100 MB to 5 GB on paid plans.
How do I add file uploads to a Webflow form without the Premium plan?
Install the Flowdrive app from the Webflow Marketplace, open it in the Designer, click Connect Webflow, turn on uploads and add the upload field to your form, then publish. It works on any paid Site plan, or a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace, because it adds the field through Webflow’s custom code.
Can visitors upload more than one file in a Webflow form field?
Not with Webflow’s File upload button: each button takes a single file. Flowdrive’s upload field can accept several files, and each file’s link is added to the form, one after another.
Where do files uploaded through the form go?
Into your Flowdrive library. The upload field puts each file’s link into the form, so the link arrives with the Webflow submission and its notification email. On paid Flowdrive plans, files can be served from your own domain.
Does it work on a free Webflow site?
No. The upload field is added through Webflow’s custom code, which needs a paid Site plan or a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace. Flowdrive itself has a free plan (1 GB storage, files up to 20 MB, 25 files), enough to try it on your form.
How much does it cost?
The Flowdrive app has no separate charge. Uploads count against your Flowdrive plan: free to start, and paid plans from $19 a month or $190 a year.
